Description of Collaborative Activity: |
The NIH is collaborating with Childhood Obesity Research Demonstration (CORD) project officers to 1) develop a symposium proposal for the Obesity Society (TOS) annual meeting coming up in November 2013 and 2) to discuss Childhood Obesity Research and the NHLBI/NICHD/OBSSR funded study- COPTR (childhood obesity prevention and treatment research). The proposal for the TOS meeting, developed by COPTR and CORD (NHLBI and CDC staff) is for a collaborative symposium on childhood obesity research with the goal of advancing health and well being of America’s children. |
