This IAA requires the technical assistance of the National Institute of Child Health and Development (NICHD) Neonatal Research network for current guidelines for prevention of group B streptococcal disease call for a limited neonatal evaluation including blood culture at birth and initiation of empiric antibiotic therapy for all newborns born to mothers with chorioamnionitist. |
