Description of Collaborative Activity: |
In collaboration with investigators from the U.S. CDC and the China CDC, NCI is assessing risk of pediatric leukemia and other pediatric cancers in a large population of offspring of mothers enrolled in a community intervention program of peri-conception folic acid supplementation in China. Pediatric cancer risks will be compared in offspring of mothers treated versus offspring of mothers not treated with folic acid supplements. |
