AHRQ Evidence Based Review - Meditation Programs for Stress and Well-being

Description of Collaborative Activity:

This is an NIH/AHRQ collaboration driven by a nomination from the Division of Extramural Research of the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, NIH to review the efficacy of mindfulness-based interventions across the broad range of stress outcomes, as well as develop information related to the understanding of the mechanisms by which these therapies operate. It was submitted through the public domain, and thus does not require NIH funding, but NCCAM is serving in a scientific advisory capacity.
