The purpose of the Subcommittee on Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences is to advise, assist and respond to inquiries from the Committee on Science (CS) and the NSTC on U.S. SBE science policies, on procedures and plans that relate basic and applied research and development (R&D) efforts to national priority areas, and on the use of SBE research knowledge for the benefit of all Americans. |
