Janus is a study data repository component of a common, standards-based infrastructure that is being jointly developed by the FDA and the NCI to support the exchange of clinical research data. This collaborative effort between FDA and NCI has been ongoing and we are now entering Phase 3. FDA and NCI will explore and evaluate uploading of standard data and their required transport layers into the Janus architecture. FDA intends to store all standardized clinical study data submissions in the NCI Janus data warehouse as part of this phase of Janus development. |
