Image-Guided Tumor Targeted Delivery (IGTD) in Cancer workshop, Nov 10, 2010 (Bethesda, MD). This one-day workshop brought together molecular imaging and oncology experts from fields related to IGTD, particularly image-guidance/quantitation and targeted delivery of therapeutics and biologics in cancer. In addition to the extramural investigators, participants included scientists from NCI (intramural and extramural) as well as the FDA (Office of the Commissioner, CDER, and CDRH). The workshop included several short presentations followed by break-out sessions, focused on issues related to the use of imaging in guidance and quantitation of targeted delivery in cancer and various stages of translation of innovative solutions to the clinic. |
