NIMH co-hosted a meeting titled, "Addressing Mental Disorders: The Missing Link to Effective HIV Prevention Care, Treatment, and Support," in collaboration with the HHS Office of Global Affairs and other supporting organizations. The forum brought together researchers, policy makers, advocates, and implementers working in the fields of HIV/AIDS and mental health to share promising models for the integration of mental health services into HIV/AIDS care programs and to reducing the treatment gap for mental illnesses affecting people living with HIV in high-, middle-, and low-income countries. |
