Computer Models and Validation for Medical Devices Workshop

Description of Collaborative Activity:

This has been an annual summer workshop organized by the FDA, NIH, and NSF on computer models of medical devices, although the workshop was suspended in 2012. Planning for the 2013 workshop began in 2012, and will focus on identifying the conditions under which computer-simulated human-response data can be used to support a regulatory submission to the FDA.
