The purpose of this workshop was to explore new avenues for HIV vaccine discovery. Topics included the role and functions of the HIV envelope glycans in viral transmission and potential vulnerability, identification of glycans in induction and maturation of broadly neutralizing antibodies, new tools to characterize glycosylation patterns, and the role of glycans in immunoglobulin effector function. |
