HIV/AIDS Cancer Match Study

Description of Collaborative Activity:

Investigators have used data from the NCI HIV/AIDS Cancer Match Study, in conjunction with data from the CDC surveillance program on the number of HIV-infected people in the U.S., to estimate the contribution of the HIV epidemic to the occurrence of Kaposi sarcoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and cervical cancer.
