International Experience and Technical Assistance Training Program (IETA)

Description of Collaborative Activity:

The International Experience and Technical Assistance (IETA) program is a developmental training program for Federal public health employees offered by the Center for Global Health at the CDC. Specifically, IETA is a professional development/technical assistance program that consists of three workshops and a supervised short-term overseas assignment with an international public health program. NIMH staff presented on professional experience with IETA program during a brown bag session for the CDC IETA program, Bethesda, MD, May 2012.
