National Blood Disorders Program

Description of Collaborative Activity:

The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) established the National Blood Disorders Program (NBDP) in accordance with the Institute’s strategic plan of moving scientific discovery from causes to cures. The program’s purpose is to coordinate a national effort to improve the management of hematological disorders focused on the implementation of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines to prevent, detect, and treat, complications.
