Title of Collaborative Activity:

Tuberculosis (TB) Diagnostics Research Forum

Description of Collaborative Activity:

The purpose of the Forum is to communicate, coordinate, and collaborate to address issues of Tuberculosis (TB) diagnostics, especially drug susceptibility testing (DST) for new drugs and regimens. The initial focus was to bring together researchers, clinicians, clinical trial groups, government, and non‐government organizations with both the drug and diagnostic industry to advance the field of pyrazinamide (PZA) DST to meet the needs of clinical trials scheduled for 2013. In addition, the Forum will expand to other drugs including FQ and new anti-tuberculosis drugs in the pipeline.
