Description of Collaborative Activity: |
To encourage greater cross-talk and Agency participation in developing the National Drug Control Strategy, White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) reconstituted its demand reduction workgroups focusing on prevention, emerging threats, healthcare delivery, justice systems, military veterans and their families, and performance and accountability measures. These working groups aim to prevent substance abuse and related negative consequences by implementing a prevention framework to serve as a foundation for collaboration among Federal agencies in the development of joint initiatives that serve States and communities across the Nation. |
