This Review Group composed of members from FDA and relevant federal agencies, including CDC, Department of Justice and Department of State, recommends to NIAID whether facilities and procedures (e.g., registration, security risk assessments, safety plans, security plans, emergency response plans, training, transfers, record keeping, laboratory inspections, notification, etc) at NIAID-funded foreign research sites are comparable to those required by the Select Agent Regulations for domestic institutions before Select Agent work at the foreign site may proceed. |
