AIDS International Training and Research Program (AITRP) Supplements

Description of Collaborative Activity:

The goal of the AIDS International Training and Research Program (AITRP) is to build multi-disciplinary biomedical, behavioral, and social science research capacity for the prevention, care, and treatment of HIV/AIDS and HIV-related conditions in adults and children in low-and middle-income countries. Research training will be provided to scientists at institutions in countries defined by the World Bank criteria as low- and middle-income. In FY13 PEPFAR/CDC-COP funded supplements to parent AITRP awards in Zambia through Vanderbilt; Uganda and Vietnam through Berkeley; Tanzania through Baylor/Dartmouth/Boston University; South Africa through Columbia; and Ukraine through SUNY Medical Center Downstate.
