This Interagency Agreement requires the technical assistance of the National Institute of Child Health and Development (NICHD) Neonatal Research network for development of current guidelines for prevention of group B streptococcal disease calling for a limited neonatal evaluation including blood culture at birth and initiation of empiric antibiotic therapy for all newborns born to mothers with chorioamnionitis |
