These guidelines were produced by the World Health Organization (WHO) Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse (Management of Substance Abuse unit), in collaboration with the WHO Management of Noncommunicable Diseases Department (MND) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation Section (PTRS). The development of these guidelines was coordinated by Vladimir Poznyak and Nicolas Clark under the direction of Shekhar Saxena and in collaboration with Edouard Tursan d'Espaignet and Lubna Bhatti (WHO) and Elizabeth Mattfeld (UNODC). |
