Working Group for the Workshop on Science of Prevention and Health Promotion to Address Health Disparities

Description of Collaborative Activity:

Based on recommendations that emerged from the NIMHD Operational Planning Meeting held on July 30-31, 2014, NIMHD will lead, in collaboration with experts from other NIH ICs and the extramural research community, a scientific workshop focused on disparities in chronic disease prevention, with the goal to identify research gaps and opportunities for targeted initiatives.
