Description of Collaborative Activity: |
The Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) created a "National Robotics Initiative" to promote research in a variety of robot-related topics. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) joined as a major civilian aspect of this coordinated interagency plan which incorporates the following funding agencies: NIH, National Science Foundation (NSF), National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA). An MOU was issued for the period FY 2012-2016. A meeting of Principal Investigators was held in November 2015. |
