Description of Collaborative Activity: |
The HHS Viral Hepatitis Interagency Working Group was created by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health to address a report sponsored by the Institute of Medicine entitled Hepatitis and Liver Cancer: A National Strategy for Prevention and Control of Hepatitis B and C. The group meets to discuss collaborations and activities directed at achieving the goals for viral hepatitis research and control highlighted in the IOM report. The working group is developing a 2017-2020 National Viral Hepatitis Action Plan. |
