Description of Collaborative Activity: |
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Arctic Working Group was organized in March 2015 by the Office of Global Affairs, Office of the HHS Secretary. The purpose of the Working Group is to (1) ensure coordination of deliverables to the Arctic Executive Steering Committee (AESC), which was established by Executive Order and held its first meeting in February, 2015; (2) provide an opportunity for cross-agency learning and communication regarding activities and projects in Arctic regions; and, (3) facilitate future interagency collaborations. |
