This collaboration is pursuing the development of a safe and effective malaria vaccine. Current efforts include a Phase 1 clinical trial of a radiation-attenuated sporozoite vaccine for malaria. Malaria remains one of the most devastating diseases in the world, and a malaria vaccine that provides long-term protection is urgently needed to reduce mortality and eliminate transmission. |
