The HHWG developed a Strategy for Action that will capitalize on the collective expertise within the HHWG and the Task Force to advance the policy established in the United States Housing Act: “…to assist States and political subdivisions of States to remedy the unsafe housing conditions and the acute shortage of decent and safe dwellings for low-income families [and] to assist States and political subdivision of States to address theshortage of housing affordable to low-income families.” |
