This NIH-wide program supports partnerships between American Indian (AI), Alaska Native (AN), and Tribally based organizations and institutions that conduct intensive academic-level biomedical research. This program supports research by and in the AI/AN communities by developing research infrastructure and a cadre of AI/AN scientists and health research professionals, with the goal of reducing health disparities in the Ai/An communities.
