The purpose of this work group is to conduct research on sodium and potassium biomarkers in the CDC's NHANES and NHLBI cohort studies to improve monitoring of sodium intake in the US population. Research has included calibration studies on prediction of usual sodium intake and estimation of usual sodium intake in the US population. |
