Workshop on Zika therapeutics

Description of Collaborative Activity:

The goals of the workshop, held in September 2017, were to: • Discuss possible therapeutic approaches for Zika Virus (ZIKV) and the ideal properties for each therapeutic • Discuss the optimal clinical trial design for different indications and achievable endpoints • Review animal models that might be used to support pre-clinical development of therapeutics • Review current ZIKV therapeutic development efforts
