Description of Collaborative Activity: |
The purpose of the meeting was to bring together medical countermeasures stakeholders, including academic researchers, industry, and funding and regulatory agencies to consider challenges and opportunities of gaining approval for drugs for a radiation indication that have another approved use. Through presentations from industry, academia, and government, and a guided discussion session, information was shared to highlight ways to address potential hurdles. A meeting report will be generated based on the workshop discussions and outcomes. |
