Description of Collaborative Activity: |
The Office of AIDS Research Advisory Council (OARAC) advises the Director of the Office for AIDS Research, the Director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services on the planning, coordination, and evaluation of all HIV/AIDS research programs and related activities at the NIH. The OARAC also advises on the AIDS research policies and priorities, the development of an annual plan for HIV-related research, and the coordination of HHS agency-wide HIV/AIDS efforts. |
