Description of Collaborative Activity: |
The National Kidney Disease Education Program (NKDEP) is an initiative of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases. NKDEP aims to improve early detection of chronic kidney disease (CKD). The NKDEP Health Information Technology Working Group (HITWG) includes partners at the federal, state, and local levels focused on incorporating CKD data into electronic health records in a consistent and searchable manner. |
