Description of Collaborative Activity: |
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Action Plan includes activities addressing the needs of individuals with serious mental illness (SMI) as well as those at high risk for developing SMI. This plan targets three goals: reducing the duration of untreated SMI through early engagement in care; improving the quality of care through stronger measurement and accountability; and increasing access to community-based treatment and support services. |
