Description of Collaborative Activity: |
The BHCC is tasked with assuring that agencies coordinate their activities related to addressing the needs of and services for persons with behavioral healthcare concerns, particularly but not exclusively those with serious mental illness (SMI). The Behavioral Health/Primary Care Integration Subcommittee addresses the need to improve the integration of mental health and primary care services. This group convenes bi-monthly to share agency initiatives in this area and collaborate on new initiatives to promote this integration. |
