Description of Collaborative Activity:

The National Diabetes Education Program (NDEP) (1997-2019) was a federal awareness program of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which worked with partners at many levels to improve outcomes for people with diabetes. The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) carries forward the content, outreach and promotion activities developed under the program to meet ongoing need.
