Title of Collaborative Activity:

Interagency Health Team at the US Embassy, Kampala

Description of Collaborative Activity:

The Interagency Health Team is part of the US Mission to Uganda and composed of senior level individuals from DoD, CDC, USAID, Peace Corps and NIH. This team is chaired by the Deputy Chief of Mission and meets on a monthly basis to discuss policy level issues regarding US Government health development and research activities in Uganda. The goal of the team is to ensure that all agencies are working in a coordinated fashion in meeting the US Mission to Uganda’s strategic goals, one of which is improving health.
