Description of Collaborative Activity: |
The goals of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Kidney Care Work Group are to 1) reduce the number of new patients needing organ transplants by 25% by 2030; 2) provide healthier options for those on life-saving protocols so that 80 % of dialysis patients can be treated by alternatives to current dialysis by 2025; and 3) expand the supply of organs 3 fold by 2025. |
