Description of Collaborative Activity:

The purpose of this committee is to provide advice and consultation to the Surgeon General on issues relating to the professional practice and personnel activities, civil service, and Commissioned Corps of the Medical Category. The committee provides advisory assistance to the Chief Professional Officer and to the Agency and/or Program Heads of the USPHS and to non-PHS programs that routinely use USPHS personnel.
