Description of Collaborative Activity: |
The FHIR Work Group’s mission is to coordinate federal knowledge, implementation, and decision-making around the role and use of the HL7 FHIR standard in health information technology. The Work Group will focus first on sharing knowledge about FHIR activities happening at the federal level from a regulatory, procurement, and programmatic standpoint. The Work Group will solicit and promote guidance for agencies making choices in FHIR development and implementation to align around a common version of the FHIR standard. Finally, the Work Group will prepare and advance a strategy to support federal FHIR development and implementation activities. |
