HHS Disability Collaborative

Description of Collaborative Activity:

The HHS Collaborative is for OpDivs and StaffDivs to work in partnership on issues that impact person with disabilities. This group will address emerging issues, funding announcements, research and evaluation, pre-clearance conversations, special events, announcements, and rollouts. Anticipated results includes enhanced communication across agencies, elevated focus on key disability issues, improved awareness and coordinated messaging, alignments of budgets and policy proposal, and enhanced knowledge transfer across HHS. This is not a governing body. The lead organizations are ACL and ASPE.
