The Women's Health Initiative was a study of cardiovascular disease, cancer, and osteoporosis in postmenopausal women. Participant data from the NHLBI Women's Health Initiative cohort is being linked to Medicare data to allow researchers to identify clinical outcomes and to investigate the utilization and costs of medical services within the Medicare Program. |
