The Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA) is investigating the prevalence, correlates, and progression of subclinical cardiovascular disease in a multi-ethnic cohort. Participant data from the MESA cohort is being linked to Medicare data to allow researchers to identify clinical outcomes and to investigate the utilization and costs of medical services within the Medicare Program. |
