The Framingham Heart study is a longitudinal study of factors influencing the development of cardiovascular disease. Participant data from the NHLBI-funded Framingham Heart Study is being linked to Medicare data to allow researchers to investigate the utilization and costs of medical services within the Medicare program. CMS is providing the Medicare claims data to NHLBI for this purpose at no cost. |
