Title of Collaborative Activity:

Public Health and Infertility National Action Plan-Research Working group

Description of Collaborative Activity:

This research working group is part of strategic plan of CDC in the development of a National Action Plan for Public Health and Infertility. CDC's goal is to reduce infertility. Working groups will be formed that address research, environment and occupational exposures, fertility preservation, infectious disease, male infertility, policy, and surveillance. Topics to be addressed by the research working group include: epidemiology of infertility; advancing the knowledge base to better prevent, diagnose and treat infertility; and capacity building between Federal agencies and outside partners.
