JDRF and NIH have partnered to plan the workshop “How Do We Get to the Clinic with Beta Cell Therapies for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D)” for May 18-19, 2022 on the NIH campus. This meeting will focus on developing the paradigm in research and development for T1D shifts toward clinical translation and testing of cell based therapies. We would like to bring the community of T1D researchers, industry, regulators and patients together to discuss the ways we can accelerate the translation of beta cell replacement therapies to the clinic and identifying ways to address gaps that remain. |
