National HIV/AIDS Strategy Steering Committee (NHAS) |
Description of Collaborative Activity: |
This multi-agency steering committee led by the White House's Office of National AIDS Policy. The Committee provided input to update the NHAS with the current administration's priorities which includes strategies to address social determinants of health. The committee was expanded to enage other departments and programs (Labor, Education, Housing, Agriculture, Transportation) to create a whole-of-government approach. The revised NHAS was released in December 2021. |
