Each May the National Eye Institute (NEI) sponsors Healthy Vision Month (HVM), which is a national observance designed to elevate eye health as a priority for Americans. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has worked with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and recently with the Office of the Surgeon General to spotlight on the connection between eye health and overall health. |
