The primary goal of the SBS is to focus on the ways in which social and behavioral research can be created and mobilized to support the U.S. government in making evidence-based decisions. It may explore topics including health communication (e.g., regarding COVID-19 and other public health crises), environmental hazard communication, and climate crisis communication, among others.
