Description of Collaborative Activity: |
This project aims to develop and publish open-source code to format Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS) Research Identifiable File (RIFs) to the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership (OMOP) Common Data Model (CDM) in conjunction with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) formatting to the Sentinel Common Data Model (CDM). Data quality will be characterized using a harmonized Data Quality Assessment Framework for electronic healthcare data that was developed in a previously funded Office of the Secretary Patient-Centered Outcomes Research (OS-PCORTF) project. Lastly, the project will assess the feasibility of using Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) to link Electronic Health Records (EHR) to Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS) claims data. |
