The Vaccines Joint Capabilities Plan (JCP) writing group, developed in support of the National Biodefense Strategy and Implementation Plan for Countering Biological Threats, Enhancing Pandemic Preparedness, and Achieving Global Health Security, focuses on: Vaccine design, testing, and authorization; Vaccine production; Vaccine distribution; and Vaccine administration and allocation to work towards the bold goal of having a vaccine poised to deploy within 100 days following the identification of an emergent viral pandemic. |
