The NIH Pain Consortium and CMS pain assessments tool provides health care practitioners with relevant and validated pain assessment tools that are appropriate to their patient population and easily embedded into their practices. The goal is to provide access to measures across biopsychosocial pain domains to facilitate discussions between clinicians and patients to develop a treatment plan and monitor progress. The website lists and describes validated, commonly used measures across pain domains and collections of additional measures. |
